WEEK 13

    NOTE: There were 21 legs in week 13 that scored 'less' or 'more' than 501. In total, there have been 149 winning legs scoring less than 501, 59 winning legs scoring more than 501, & 13 losing legs scoring 500 or more, so far this season (according to the result sheets).

WEEK 12

    NOTE: There were 11 legs in week 12 that scored 'less' or 'more' than 501. (according to the result sheets).

  • Phil Westwood (Bognor Legion) scored 451 in 28 darts against Terry Davison (Whitehorse 'E') on his way to winning 2-0.

  • Steve Cole (Whitehorse 'A') scored 449 in 35 darts against John Wickens (POW) on his way to winning 2-0.

  • Mark Reeves (Whitehorse 'C') scored 555 in 42 darts against Peter Scarlet (Bersted Tavern) on his way to losing 2-1.

  • Tony Philips (Bersted Tavern) scored 441 in 23 darts against Lester Gray (Whitehorse 'C') on his way to winning 2-1.

WEEK 11

    NOTE: There were 11 legs in week 11 that scored 'less' or 'more' than 501. (according to the result sheets).

  • Richard Pennells (POW) scored 543 in 36 darts during his first leg against Simon Edwards (Richmond 'A'), on his way to losing 2-0.

  • R Fairfull & Russ Berry (Felpham Club) both scored above 501 in their first legs (511 in 26 darts & 512 in 29 darts respectively) against the Whitehorse 'C'.

WEEK 10

    NOTE: There were 18 legs in week 10 that scored 'less' or 'more' than 501. (according to the result sheets).

  • John Davis (Whitehorse 'B') scored 601 in 30 darts during his second leg against Doug Cattermole (Bersted Tavern), winning 2-1.

  • Tony Miles (Felpham Club) scored 572 in 52 darts during his third leg against Melv Sloan (Maypole), winning 2-1.

  • Derek Longhurst (Richmond 'A') scored 601 in 34 darts during his second leg against Terry Davison (Whitehorse 'E'), winning 2-0.

WEEK 9

    NOTE: There were 11 legs in week 9 that scored 'less' or 'more' than 501. (according to the result sheets).

  • PLEASE NOTE THESE LEAGUE RULES:

    • Any player signed on after the first game will be subject to a £1.00 registration fee.

    • There will be no postponed matches, unless mutually agreed and the League Secretary notified. All re-arranged games are to be played by the end of the season.
    • If the committee decides to award a match for whatever reason, this will be awarded as a 9-5 Win. (7 Singles, 1 Pair and 1 Treble to 3 Singles, 1 Pair and 1 Treble)

WEEK 8

    NOTE: There were 11 legs in week 8 that scored 'less' or 'more' than 501. (according to the result sheets).

  • Philip Reynolds (ASC) scored 563 in 32 darts against Sean Steward (Maypole) in his 2nd winning leg.

  • Both Tom Phillips & Tony Phillips (Bersted Tavern) scored less than 501 in one of their winning legs. Tom with 474 in 33 darts against John Delacour (Richmond 'B') & Tony with 471 in 40 darts against Robert Bourne (Richmond 'B').

WEEK 7

    NOTE: There were 13 legs in week 7 that scored 'less' or 'more' than 501. (according to the result sheets).

  • Sam Abrehart, Paul Woolacott, John Mace (all Whitehorse 'Z') and Ashley Clements (Whitehorse 'A') all had winning legs that scored more or less than 501 during their week 7 match.

  • Martin Grainger (Royal Oak) scored 493 in 31 darts & 475 in 31 darts during both his winning leg against Richard Payne (Maypole). Also, Brian Winton (Royal Oak) won his first leg against Melv Sloan (Maypole) by scoring 481 in 42 darts. But Melv then won the next 2 legs by scoring 491 in 35 darts, twice!
    That's the first 5 winning legs of that match, all scoring less than 501.

WEEK 6

    NOTE: There were 8 legs in week 6 that scored 'less' or 'more' than 501. (according to the result sheets).

  • Sam Abrehart (Whitehorse 'Z') scored 506 in 39 darts during his second losing leg against Ashley Beddows (SOMAC 'A').

  • Brian Thurling (Richmond 'B') only scored 451 in 29 darts during his only winning leg against Peter Green (Whitehorse 'B'). Whereas, Hayley Tester (Richmond 'B') scored 528 in 47 darts during her first winning leg against Esme O'Brien (Whitehorse 'B').

WEEK 5

    NOTE: There were 21 legs in week 5 that scored 'less' or 'more' than 501. (according to the result sheets).

  • Arnie Elout (BRSA) scored 497 in 34 darts, and 443 in 33 darts on his way to winning 2-0 against Ashley Beddows (SOMAC 'A').

  • Andy Cooke (Whitehorse 'Z') scored 511 in 22 darts during his first winning leg against Rick Cousins (Richmond 'A'). Whereas, Mick Isles (Richmond 'A') only scored 463 in 22 darts during his first winning leg against George Claridge (Whitehorse 'Z').

  • During the Whitehorse 'E' v Bognor Legion match, Roger Hackett got so engrossed with his sons game that he forgot to write the 1st legs scores down, denying Ian an average. Also, the 180 scored in the pairs by Richard Ragless was not written down. Fortunately for him, there were lots of witnesses to the score.

WEEK 4

    NOTE: There were 20 legs in week 4 that scored 'less' or 'more' than 501. (according to the result sheets).

  • Dave Sopp (Royal Oak) scored 444 in 25 darts during his 2nd leg, and 479 in 36 darts during his 3rd leg, winning them both against the Richmond 'B'.

  • Both Vince Goddins & Simon Edwards (Richmond 'A') scored Less than 501 (499 & 500 respectively) during their first singles legs, winning them both against Richard Pennells & Caroline Taylor (POW).

  • Both Martin Grainger & Ken Austin (Royal Oak) scored Less than 501 (both 461) during their second singles legs against the Richmond 'B', winning them both.

WEEK 3

    NOTE: There were 21 legs in week 3 that scored 'less' or 'more' than 501. (according to the result sheets).

  • Mary Janman (Whitehorse 'B') lost 2-0 against Dave Coupland (Bersted Tavern), but actually scored 527 with 57 darts in leg 1, and 501 with 42 darts in leg 2, (both legs being losing legs).

  • Sam Abrehart (Whitehorse 'Z') won 2-1 against Richard Pennells (POW), but actually scored 487 with 33 darts in leg 2, and 491 with 22 darts in leg 3, winning them both.

  • Garry Rose (BRSA) scored a 15 dart leg against Phil Westwood (Bognor Legion) during his week 2 match to lose 1-2. This is Garry's only winning leg so far this season.

WEEK 2

    NOTE: There were 27 legs in week 2 that scored 'less' or 'more' than 501. (according to the result sheets).

  • Richard Pennells (POW) scored 528 in 34 darts against Mario Georgiou (Whitehorse 'E') during his first leg to win 2-0.

  • One team is still writing down how many darts were used for a winning throw in all their winning legs, but not writing down what the actual score was for the winning throw. (Remember; write your winning throws down as you would other scores, then mark how many darts were used, i.e. 32 in 1 dart).

  • Gina Berry (Felpham Club) scored 542 in 41 darts against Dave Coupland (Bersted Tavern) during her second leg to lose 1-2

  • One team is still writing down the amount of darts for losing legs incorrectly, but writing down their darts for a winning leg correctly. (Remember; for losing legs, write in the number that appears on the score sheet directly above your final throw.)

  • Tim McCarthy (Whitehorse 'A') scored 553 in 42 darts against Rob Tite (BRSA) during his second leg to lose 1-2.

WEEK 1

    NOTE: There were 23 winning legs in week 1 that scored 'less' than 501 & 4 that scored 'more' than 501 (according to the result sheets).

  • Mary Roberts (POW) scored 516 in 40 darts against Ashley Beddows (SOMAC 'A') during her first leg to win 2-0.

  • One team wrote down how many darts were used for a winning throw in all their winning legs, but they didn't write down what the actual score was for the winning throw. (Remember; write your winning throws down as you would other scores, then mark how many darts were used, i.e. 32 in 1 dart)

  • Terry Hitchman (SOMAC 'A') scored 517 in 50 darts against Shenagh Wickens (POW) during his third leg to win 2-1.

  • Another team is writing down the amount of darts for a winning leg correctly, but writing down their darts for losing legs incorrectly. (Remember; for losing legs, write in the number that appears on the score sheet directly above your final throw)

  • Paul Crockford (BRSA) scored 549 in 20 darts against Derek Longhurst (Richmond 'A') during his third leg to win 2-1.
